Taxed months later????

i bought a rifle from speedtoys at the end of august. received it in the post. no VAT. excellent i thought. now, nearly three months later, i get an invoice from UPS looking for €38.20? wtf? surely they look for this money BEFORE they give you your package. that would give you a reason to pay it.

does anyone know the law outlining things like this? could i just ignore it? or will i be receiving angry phone calls?

UPS labeled flaming bags on my doorstep and all that jazz

cant help ya their oisin unfortunetly, The thread title scared the bejesus outa me :eek: , I tought your ehobby order was taxed which would be much worse to say the least

nah its because silly speedytoys used UPS. good oul ehobby are wiser then that

but yeah, three months later. there has to be some cut off point. i think ill just ignore it and never use UPS again
