Not a fan of vino but I'll be watching as this should be great TV.

DOCUMENTARY: Oz and James's Big Wine Adventures
On: BBC 2 Northern Ireland (Digital) (106)
Date: Wednesday 22nd November 2006 (starting in 2 hours and 22 minutes)
    Time: 20:00 to 21:00 (1 hour long)

Series in which oenophile Oz Clarke takes wine novice James May on a on a month's trip to France to learn all about the grape. In Bordeaux, Oz teaches James about the correct way to talk about wine, and challenges him to talk about the wines he samples at the Chateau Pichon Longueville-Baron. In Languedoc-Roussean, Oz wants James to learn how wine is made, beginning with a harvest at a hillside vineyard owned by Matassa wine, after which they sample some local farmers' homemade rustic reds.

Great fun! Oz and James turn out to be an exellent ying-yang duo, and like Captain Slow I gradually learnt some useful stuff from Oz Clark and looking at the French countryside is a pleasure in itself.

Here is the link to the BBC website for the show, I was hoping the first episode would be available online (I live in the UK so could view it if it was) but it ain't there :(

Either means that it will be put online later or more likely there will be a DVD of the show. :)
