I would be grateful if anybody could help me. I recently had a new hard drive installed in my PC and am in the process of re-installing everything. Before my old hard drive kicked the bucket, I backed everything up. I now have my
i-tunes library on a dvd and on the iPod itself. I have just installed the ipod driver and want to know how I can copy the original library from either the dvd or the iPod onto the new i-tunes library on the pc which is currently empty. I really don't want to have to import all the music from cd if at all possible.

    Thanks

Sounds like a big enough job, but for smaller tasks I use:
    http://www.yamipod.com/main/modules/home/

It's great, because you can even store the application on your iPod, and use it to transfer songs from the iPod to any PC.
