More irresponsible advertising

Optrex is an eye wash product. It has a genuine use and I have nothing against the product, but their current marketing campaign is appalling. They're running several different ads on all radio stations repeatedly throughout the day.

The ad goes something like this

Man talks to woman who has spent all day working at a computer and she says here eyes are sore from all the work, the man says 'don't worry you're grand' until she turns her head and you hear an internal monologue of utter disgust "HER EYES OH GOD HER EYES!!" at which point they try to sell you Optrex as a daily cosmetic solution.

As if self esteem issues weren't such a big problem already, as if people don't already feel under enough pressure to have every single aspect of their appearance in impeccable condition.

    How much money is enough?

Moved from Politics, where I don't see any relevance at all.
