    Normally turn onto richmond road

    drive to grace park junction

    turn right onto gracepark road,

take first left,go down narrow road with speed bumps

take right at junction with swords road

take (neverending) journey up through grifith junction and collins juntion

    out past port tunnel

    onto m1 and home.

this used to take 30 minutes, it took over an hour the last 2 nights (i havent had to do this journey for over 6 months, dunno whats changed!!!)

    is there a quicker route?

    malahide road?

use gracepark all way to collins ave?

    some ballymun way???

any suggestions gratefully accepted to save my sanity.

Newely moved to Balbriggan? New to this route?

It gets like this every end of November when 'the madness' begins. It's nothing new. Expect it to be like this when the Port Tunnel opens and traffic from the N1 is trying to merge with the M50 and then onto the M1.

Im a native ThankYouVeryMuch!!! born and bred, green and red, balbrigganer. Just usually commute except when im back in HQ on richmond road.

I take it that I am currently using the quickest route out of Dantes Inferno?

    Let me guess Ergo!

Yeah that's about the quickest route, I've not found one better to be honest. Try splitting the week, half car, half train and pints after work.
