How do I attach a short cut to a key to always paste a specific 6 digit value?

I know the obvious way is to ctrl-c, then ctrl-v .... but this solution is not acceptable.

Is it always the same 6 digit value?

Yes, always the same 6 digits.

I think there might be some macro programmes out there, not sure of names, though. Would this be ok? http://www.autohotkey.com/

The G keys on a Logitech G15 are very handy.

A workaround would be to create a new button on the toolbar and assign it a hotkey.
