hi i heard about ticket master sueing boards.ie over selling tickets and i was wondering is there was a way of selling tickets online without breaking the law or leaving yourself at risk of being sued ?people can sell tickets on ebay and the buy and sell and its not illegal is it?so if i was to set up a website selling tickets could i be sued?i would imagine i would need a license and if so would i then be doing things legal and be safe from being sued?and if so how would i go about doing this?

We're not touching this one with a barge pole. Your information re: tickmaster is 100% incorrect. Ticketmaster are not involved in legal action with boards.ie.

If you want to find out about the legality of selling tickets online, talk to a solicitor.
