    Hi,

I want to know how to paste data sets into Excel. I've tried all of the Paste Special options and googled but no success. Whenever I paste the tabular data into Excel it's all put into a single cell. Any way of rectifying this?

The data I'm looking to get is from the Penn World Tables if you need an example.

Looking at that website, another option it provides is CSV. Give that a go. Save it off to xyz.csv and then import it into Excel. Sounds like it might be a bit more straight forward.
