ok left my laptop downloading some stuf last night, when i got thismoring the laptop was rebooting and i was like WTF and then i noticed the when the laptop boots it get to the windows loading screen (the bar thing) and then when that loads a black blank screen pops up for around 4second and then a blue windows error screen pops up for about a miosecond because of this i am unable to read it.

any ideas this is just a long loop and cant get the laptop to boot.

Try tapping the F8 key which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" as shown below. Select Last Known Good Configuration and see if that makes any difference.

It may just be hot. Leave it for an hour and try again. Or try a repair with your OS disk.

    virus i would guess...
or corrupt winlogon.exe (more likely actually)

    boot into safe mode...
go to: start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system restore and restore the system to a date when you know it was working...
