    How about making cheap beer/wine thread a sticky where the Boards member has to give the following info:example

    Beer: 24 Miller, 20Heineken etc
    Price: 20
    Location: Tesco Dundrum
    Offer Expires: 1st December(this way we can know when the post is dead)

    Just an idea with christmas around the corner....

    maybe also include the volume of the bottles/cans?

    A good start would be the following thread:

    Excellent idea, there has already been several threads on cheap beer, it would be great to pull them all together.

    if they still havent made the obvious sticky for dvds & cds there is slim chance of this happening. The moderator in the beer & wine forum would probably make one though.

    McHughs off-licence

    Kilbarrack Road D13
    Malahide Road D5

    24 50cl cans of Carlsberg ==> €33.99 ==> €1.42 per can

    other beers too.

    Well once that new EU directive is brought in on thursday 24th that says you only have to pay excise duty on Alcohol and Cigerettes in the country of purchase it would be handy to have a sticky with websites that sell cheap alcohol and tobacco because it is going to save the Irish a fortune.

    Think about it no longer do you have to wait for somebody to be going to spain for you to get 200 Benson for €20 you can just buy it online:D

    Does that mean we will be able to import vodka on the cheap, are there any big web based companies that would send it out in plastic bottles?

    I still cant see the drink being that cheap when delivery comes in to play, liquid is pretty heavy

    You can already get it, and it comes in glass bottles. 1/2 the price it is here or less. Just search google.
