Looks similar to the nano, but probably not as good
Would be interesting to know what the resolution of the screen is,
Battery life seems quite short if thats for music playback

Picked up one of these 2gb mp3 players for 40euro in pcworld carrigmines today.

    mentioned on another thread,
i got one of these off ebay.

they have glass screens which easily break and shatter.
be careful if your keeping it your pocket.

mine shattered in my back pocket

    Lidl have a 1GB mp3 player too.

It says playback time 50 hours. Is that the same as saying battery life.
If so, then why do other ones like the aldi one above only have 6 hours. I know the aldi one has a tft screen, but that's a big difference in battery time.

the aldi one might have a hard disk in it - that requires more power (to spin the disk) than a flash memory with no moving parts.

Also take all playback/battery times with a large pinch of salt. They are usually written as "up to...X hours playback"!

**** player. I owned 2 of them, both broke within days. Screens are made of glass, and break easily. Also, the batteries aren't great, hit and miss really. And 2.5mm jacks, pretty irritating.

Would not recommend them. You will find them also in Maplins, for suspiciously cheap prices. Now I know why....

These are common on ebay albeit with slight variations on the interface. One problem is that changing albums is awkward. If you have a large number of folders then they take some time to list so that you can select. This can become infuriating. Also the one I have seems to be very sensitive about transferring the files and gets corrupt the first few goes. On the positive side they do have a lot of functions.

I'll give it a miss then, given the feedback here. Thanks for all the replies.
