anyone heard of this. was trying to find out what the story is with no good new phones on meteor as I have an upgrade and the service rep said they were launching their 3G service called blueberry soon and would have new phones then.
anyone heard of this, in general they haven't got a clue what they are talking about so it may all be a mix up but sounds interesting. can anyone confirm..

Given that Meteor dont have a 3G licence (yet?!) I find it unlikely they've built a 3G network, let alone are in a position to launch 3G services.

The Tribune also reports that Eircom has not yet decided whether to accept the last remaining 3G licence recently withdrawn from Smart Telecom. Eircom CEO Rex Combs said the business case for 3G had not yet been proven.

i'm assuming it is some sort of MVNO on either 3 or vodafones 3G network which has been talked about over the last couple of years..

I think it might be along the lines of T-Mobile's service in the UK. It runs a version of the Opera Browser and is similar in some respects to i-Mode.
