    Guys,

I have a lacie 250Gb external hard drive (the designed by F.A. Porsche model). Anyway 2 pins on the power supply have broken off so the drive is now unusable. I have tried the lacie site and ebay with no joy.

I am just wondering if anyone has had a similar expierience with these drives and if so how did you get around it. I am thinking that it may be time to buy an external caddy and swap the drive over.

    Any thoughts ....

    Whitey

Or you could buy the caddy and hope that the power supply off it works on your Porsche or try it in the shop, I bought a icy box from marx computers a couple of months ago and it comes with a weird power supply. http://www.marxcomputers.ie/
