Well done Adrian, you were up against it there for a bit, but came back brilliantly.

Well played Adrian. It was a long headsup battle but you took control and i've never seen Dave outplayed like that before. You grinded him down and took all his moves away from him and deserved the victory. Looking forward to the TV edit to see what sort of cr@p you were playing with!

Very well done Adrian; after playing against you a few times, I'm not surprised you've taken down a big one!

The big pay-day is the product of your strong game. (I saw you also cashed in the €5000 EPT in the Regency.)

Dave Colclough is no pushover. They don't come any tougher.

    Well played, Adrian.

I sat watching this and from 4 handed Colclough went card dead for about 60 mins and you could see the frustration build on him. Anything he tried was snapped off.

When it went 2 handed, despite the chip counts, I turned to Tony and said that I felt if you kept your head you would take it down. Colclough remained agitated/frustrated and had signs of a man meeting the end of the line.

You did however, get very very lucky with your CRAI with K6 against the finnish guy. But then if you are going to go deep in a tourney you will have to get the rub of the green every now and again.

You made a couple of brave calls with mid pairs against bluffs from Colclough also - in short you showed balls of steel with one of them. (pair of sevens I think). At one stage you won 7 hands in a row - some of them uncontested, one of them with a brave call and this took the wind out of Colcloughs sail - it was only a matter of time from then on.

Will you be writing up a full report on the event? I would look forward to reading it.

As an aside can I also point out that the guy who cashed in 3rd was a mighty impressive player - I watched quite a bit of him over the tourney and he was rock solid. If the board didnt pair a ten to your K6 then he had your chips and would have taken it down. But as the Chief says "thats poker" ;)

    well done again.
