Watching the rugby match on Sunday all the players were too tall regardless of alterations at my end - tv set to 16:9. The other channels were normal. Am using a Humax F2-FOXT. Still - well worth the bother to get the digital from 3Rock -- long may it last - goodbye to bad ghosting here in Kilmacanogue Co Wicklow.! (Sugarloaf problem I suspect.) Any ideas? Perhaps transmissions not adjusted at their end? Thanks for all your help to date. Regards, Michael r.

Just wondering did you also set the box to output a 16:9 signal as well? Not familiar with Humax boxes, but there should be a menu to set the picture format to 16:9, 4:3 Letterbox, 4:3 Pan & Scan etc.

Don't forget though that this is just a DTT trial and that sometimes the pictures aren't broadcast in a correct format anyway. You will get 4:3 material being broadcast in 16:9 and vice versa. Also sometimes, you will get just an exact copy of the analogue terrestrial signal as well. (4:3, 14:9 etc.).
