This isn't a PI. And soccer is only allowed on the Soccer board. Moved from PI to Soccer Access Requests.

I'm sure he'd love to go, even if they lose.

A gift of a trip to the Bernebeau Stadium to see Real Madrid and some time in Madrid - he'll love it. Most guys don't mind how the result turns out at games like that, it's the experience of having been there that will live with him.

Well if he is into football in anyway it would be a great present, though may I suggest going to Barcelona if he has no real affiliations to Real Madrid - apparently it's a fantastic and vibrant city, full of culture and excitement. It also has a 100,000 seater stadium for you to sit in and sensational football team for you to watch. However, on paper, Madrid's match (around the 20th December) appears to be the better fixture. Personally, I would suggest finding out what each city has to offer beyond that of mere football and go with the city that has something for the both of you.

Both teams are in good form (both in top 4 in la liga) excellent pressie idea.

I wish my GF thought outside the box like that..

Had to correct speeling...I learn the english from a book

Barca as Fanny said much better city, be aware games can change dates due to tv at short notice so plan to stay sunday night.

If you book it in travel agents they get you tickets to either team.

ebay is your best bet at this stage. My girlfriend got me a signed Man City one there 2 years ago and it's perfect. They come with a certificate of authenticity so you should be grand.

This isn't the place for this thread.

Moved from Soccer Access Requests -

victor - this isn't a convenient dumping ground for threads you're unsure of.

    PM us first next time.

Forget Madrid and Barcelona and go to Valencia it's cheaper and a lot better and they are also a quality team with a big stadium, jaysus i wish some of my ex birds had some imagination and done something like that for me instead of some present that i have to pretend i like:confused::D

This thread has nothing to do with travel. OP is looking for opinions on two spanish football teams. If Soccer don't want it, thread should be locked.

    Reported (again).

I don't quite think it belows here either, I think it would get more views and help from people on the soccer forum as people from there would have been on such trips, pm sent to psi

    Grrr this is a nightmare.

The OP won't have access to the soccer forum unless she applies and at the moment she's not eligible for access.

I think the gifts forum may be better?
