Best place to buy Shure E2C in Dublin?

There have been some threads regarding this in the past, but I'm wondering about it now. Who has the best prices? Peats sell them for €109, and the Apple shop for €99.

Is there anything cheaper? Do any shops offer student discount?

Would love to get them ASAP!

    Thanks,
    Fionn

Give the guys in Music Technology a call. They will need to get them in from Germany but should only be a few days I believe. Will in theory be cheaper than buying them in this country. Basically they are agents or such like for Thomann.

Thanks for that. I've emailed them, and will hopefully get a reply tomorrow, or I'll phone.

Thomonn sells them for €85, so I'm wondering if they really would be much cheaper than the Apple shop on Grafton Street.

Thomann for €85? Then I should imagine that MusicTech would do it for in or around €90. Could be wrong but their price is quite similar mainly due to them buying in bulk so it negates the shipping price you would be quoted from Germany.

If you emailed them then expect a reply first thing in the morning. Any time I emailed them during the day, (before 5.30pm), I got a reply in about 20 minutes. Great service.

Can't say I have heard of the guys in the link you posted.

yep i've bought quite a few things from www.iAccessorise.ie and ive got to say they have been great. Next day straight to the door. Plus the prices are generally miles better than apple.

    Hope this helps.

I ordered from Music Technology yesterday for €85, and he said 5 working days.

iAccessorize looks great, but there would be nobody at home when they deliver, and this is a problem at the moment.

Just one question. Music Technology is situated in a lane way just behind Batchelor's Walk, right?

That is absolutely correct. The area is North Lotts to be a bit more precise for you.

Edit: 28 north lotts, dublin 1

I've just found this thread and thought I'd add another option for
anyone looking to pickup a pair of Shure earphones.

    http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/7349.htm

I've no connection to this site apart from ordering four
pairs of E2cs over the last year for myself and family
members from them. Price comes in around €80
including recorded delivery. Latest pair I ordered shipped
    Thursday and arrived today.

might be of interest for those of you who listen to music/mp3
on your phone. Note the bundled Sony Ericcson adapter is for
the older models - they sell the model for K800i separately.

I had some problems with the original order, thanks to DHL shipping delays making it impractical. So I, luckily enough, found Shure E3Gs on eBay for the same price as I would have paid for the E2C.

They're superb. I just wish the foam earpieces lasted a bit longer. 7 days and they're extremely hard already. The plastic ones are a waste of time.

I found the black rubber sleeves work best for my ears. They actually block the noise better than foams for me.

These are great headphones except one of the drivers is intermittent. I can't find the receipt so no warranty claim possible. The pair only lasted for less than six months...

I paid € 85 in July at Dublin airport but last time I checked they didn't stock them anymore.

Did you register online for the warranty? Is the receipt still necessary? I hope not, considering that I bought mine online and didnt get a receipt.

Did you pay by cash or credit card? If by cc then you could get a reprint of the transaction from your cc company to prove you bought it there.
