Try Sephora, Strawberrynet and ASOS, I don't know how good they are. I found the links in the Gifts forum.

I find the unfortunately named www.cheapsmells.co.uk very good for discounted frangrances and cosmetics. They have nearly every brand and some have up to £20 knocked off the RRP. The postage is reasonable too.

    http://www.fragrancedirect.co.uk

    They do good deals.

Strawberrynet.com is a great site, free shipping, all fragrances come from the US and take about 5 days. They have % discounts for the more orders you place and seem to stock all brands.

I've heard of people getting screwed by customs on purchases from Strawberrynet.... what are your experiences, Katchit?

ill also row in behind strawberry.net. have used it 3-4 times and never had a problem getting stuff through customs. been a few months since i last ordered so unless things have changed then id use it again no worries

Two things- first of all there are a lot of knock-offs on ebay. If you choose to go down that route make sure you deal with a reputable seller. Secondly- Irish Customs and Excise appear to have recently (in the last few weeks) gone on a binge of examining incoming packages and whacking duty on them. Yesterday I got hit for E33 on a Season 5 boxset of CSI Miami from the US from Amazon. Apparently this is in response to criticisms from the C&AG that they were only interested in going after cigarette smugglers and drug mules. It used to be that you only got hit if a private courier was used- now An Post are just as bad. Just be aware of this.

Finally- the cheapest place I can normally find for fragrances is duty free shops abroad (even in the EU). The duty paid price in Brussels Airport is still half the retail price here...... Get friendly with someone who travels often. Note: despite what you might imagine Spain/Portugal/Greece are no-where near the cheapest EU countries for fragrances.......
