Michael's Tattoo [**SPOILERS**]

Okay, it's not bad obviously, the actual prison blueprints for example are really good, but there's a few things that bugged me as I was watchin back thru the episodes, especially Ep201

For example:
The English, Fitz, Percy tattoo.

First of all its huge! Not really discreet at all, considering how that was the part of the tattoo that copped Mahone onto the fact that the tattoos were part of the escape plans.
The thing is, for that tattoo, couldnt he have easily used a much more discreet tattoo?
EFP for example? or some kind of portmanteau of the three names?

Then there's Ripe Chance Woods.
Seems like that could have been made less obvious too


Did this stuff bother anyone else or is it just me?

i'd tend to agree with you on the english fitz and percy one, considering the amount of work gone into the other parts of his tattoo this just seemed a little too lazy

As soon as i read it and knowing 'Prison Break', i kept breaking / re-arranging the words apart in my head and R.I.P kept coming to mind.

I thought that the tatoo was primarily used for the plans of the prison, he knew that on the outside that there would have been more time passed so things would needed to have been clearer, so things are more obvious, just my 2 cents

Why didn't he just put all the info regarding stuff on the outside with his car etc - rather then tatooing it onto himself

às far as i know they worked them into the second season by adding crappy angles like that. People liked that he used them so just kept it going. Obviously they didnt really think about it as much as the blueprints to the prison...

WOW man i was thinking the exact same thing!! the english fitz and percy tattoo was so **** and it did give them away! i mean when scofield was on the roof he could have easily just seen which one to take out! there was no need to remember the actual names!

I kinda agree with the Ripe Chance Woods tattoo but that was cool i think! they had to put it in to throw us off obviously and it was just bad look that alex found it out but if scofield didnt put english fitz and percy on the tattoo id say alex wouldnt have a clue what is goin on but at the same time it does make it interesting tho that he does find things out...makes the show more exciting!

well having just the plans tattooed on you would be a dead giveaway, he put other stuff in the tattoo to mask what he was doing.

Yeah, I thought that myself, why not upload all the info to the net or something, although he does have a backup for everything, remember in season 1 he had a backup for the escape route, which would mean that if hid all the info he wouldn't have a backup, having the info on himself means that he always has access to it, unless he's burnt of course
