Network Card for Gamers

    Though this was announced here a few months ago, Bigfoot networks have released their KillerNIC Gaming Network card @ $279, a fairly hefty price for a Network Card that claims to improve ping and lags on online gaming, probably wouldn't help given the state of affairs with broadband in Ireland :rolleyes:

    Some of the reviews have been OK but i haven't seen any really good ones either

    Absolute nonsense I think.
    You wouldnt spend that much money on a NICS in a remote SAN, never mind on a standard run of the mill PC thats used for gaming on the net.
    Still, I am sure there are gamers out there who think that the cool silver K on the card makes this the ultimate Network card.
