I'm hoping to get one of these for someone for christmas, and maybe I'm just beeing silly about it, but do you think it's a good idea to buy something from Hong Kong over ebay?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Over the last year or so I have bought a lot of stuff on Ebay from Hong kong sellers with no problems at all. In fact in some cases the items arrived quicker that items ordered from the UK
Just check their feedback and use a little common sense and you should be ok.

IMO, oversea's is oversea's. Even if they were in Ireland, I'd still check out their ratings. That mainly show you if he was legit (someone with lots of buyers who never bought anything before would look suspicous).

Yeah I agree with that too. Very quick delivery. :) Once I got an item from Hong Kong within 3 days.
