It's got a mahogany body, and a ZR trem. Very nice. ;)

Should be out in Japan before Christmas, and the rest of the world will probably get it after NAMM in January. The price from Ikebi Gakki is €520, but who knows how much it might cost to buy in Europe.

    Thoughts?

Oooh, a 7 string ZR. That will be interesting. The S shape is incredibly comfortable to play too.

My thoughts exactly. Not too expensive either, I wonder if I'll get much money this christmas? :D

I was planning on getting rid of my LTD and getting a Schecter but that is very very appealing. Can't install EMG's though :(

    And that's a bad thing why? :p

Supposedly it's fairly simple to get the guitar routed for the wider pickups, there's a few people on sevenstring.org who've had it done. But I suppose finding someone around here who'd do it could be a lot harder.

I know the Doc has done it. I could do it myself tbh. Just looking at the model number. It's a fairly low one...

Aye, Korean made, but that wouldn't really bother me.

Nice, the S shape is as comfortable as Ibanez put out, shame about the pickups, they look like those V7, V8 types

Cool. The last 7 String S is out of production a good ten years i think,

Wish they'd stretch to 24 frets though

If you want an Ibanez with 24 frets, you go for an RG. All S series have 22 frets.

RGs aren't as pretty as S's, though.

I'd wuv an S if they had 24 frets.

    Personally, I prefer RGs. ;)

So do I, but only from a practical point of view. If I were to base it on aesthetics, I'd much prefer an S.
