i'm thinking of getting a new desktop from dell, however the only graphics card available for it is a ATI Radeon x1300pro.
I was wondering could i buy another graphics card and run the two of them in order to play games like FEAR & HL 2.

is this possible? and please don't tell me get something other than a Radeon x1300pro.

    Yes.

But does your Dell motherboard support Crossfire?

Unless the motherboard has a second PCI-e slot for graphics cards your plans are scuppered.

I think only the Dell XPS line have the second slot but I'm not 100% sure on that.

It would be a lot easier to simply buy a more powerful GPU instead of getting two low end GPU's to work in tandem. Or buy a PC from someone else like Komplett or Ankermann.
