I went to Toronto and it was the best summer of my life. Vancouver is probably a nicer city (so I've heard) but it was a major jock-fest the summer I was over.

Canada > USA mainly because you don't have to worry about being over 21 (if that's the case with you lot).

    Hey,

I done it back in 99 it was a great summer, the only bad bit was having to come home to finish my degree...

There's lots of really nice parts to canada... i spent most of my time about an hour away from toronto in the suburbs...

I'd definitly recomend it, from memory they just don't give you the visa for the summer, it can last for up to a year, which is an excellent oppertunity!

If your going to be staying through the winter and don't like the cold Vancouver would be the place to head for... if you don't mind the cold, ontario is a great place...

It's also fairly cheap there, lots of free stuff to do....

    hope this helps..
