    Not sure if I'm too gone on the new season of the OC. I HATE the new Summer

    the oc sucks.it was one of the best shows on tv for the first half of season 1,then went seriously downhill

    but summer is so hot......

    Expect this season of The OC to be its last. Ratings are around 4 million and only 16 episodes have been ordered. Fans should hope that trigger happy Fox don't pull it entirely.

    From what I've heard this new season is problably the closest to season one in greatness.

    I presumed they were looking to end it too with the smaller order and that nasty time slot. BUT Fox have moved it and there seems to be an attempt in terms of using myspace and tv fansites to spread the word about the show. Apparently it's really back on form so personally i'm interested to see the new episodes.

    It's not quite season 1, but it's far better than season 2 or 3. I love Taylor, she's great.

    I doubt Fox will pull it early. I read somewhere that Josh Schwartz (the creator) said that they've accepted they're going to get bad ratings since they have the worst timeslot possible. So once they accepted that, they were able to focus more on making the show good than on doing things to pull in ratings (like the Alex and Marissa thing, Johnny falling off the cliff etc.)

    He also said that if it is the last season, Fox have promised him plenty of warning so that they can give it a proper conclusion.
