Download speeds on marketplace

    Just wanna know if anyone else is experiencing ridiculously slow download speeds on the marketplace. It took me over 2 hours to download the r6 multiplayer demo.

    Considering I have the 6mb ntl connection i think it should be a bit quicker than that. Dont have many problems on live regarding lag though i cant seem to host too many even with a 512kb upload.

    Im wondering if its just me, maybe its the marketplace or maybe ntl.........?

    Any help appreciated.

    Not here anyway, on a 3mb BT connection and it's a fast (or slow) as it's ever been.

    New demos tend to be slower than everything else on Live but once they've been out a few days I find they fly along.

    512kb/s isn't much to be hosting with, I'd say your looking at about 6 player max on that.

    Yeah, I've experienced some slow downloads too.
