Everything is now displayed in negative, e.g white in black, orange is blue etc. Hardware is o.k. Problem occurs after login. Up to that and also in System 9.2, all is o.k. I have a 2002 933mhz Quicksilver G4, with standard graphic card. Can anyone help?

You got the plug in upside down - check around the back and plug it in the other way! Inverted your electricity.

    Kidding.

Go to System Prefs> Universal Access, and check out the complicated key combination you need to press to turn it back to normal. It's a facility for people who have difficulty seeing screens...

Thanks K.O.KIKI, It was the Problem. I didn't know about that combination. Probably accidental. Thanks.

It's also useful for covert operations where you need to remain un-noticed . . . apparently !! ;)

I find this feature quite useful when computing in the dark, especially when word processing or web browsing, as it makes looking at the screen easier on the eyes.
