Age policy at Vicar Street?

Sorry if there's a thread on this already but I want to buy tickets for Rodrigo y Gabriela (they're playing in December so I'll have to hurry or else they'll be sold out!)....

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone under 18 has tried to get into Vicar Street and if they were successful. Are they very strict on the over 18s policy? I've been to Rodrigo y Gabriela before but at a different venue and they didn't seem to care but I don't think it was for strictly over 18s.

Thanks for any of the replies

I got in there before. Depends from night to night really, but they're not the strictest.

I got into the Flaming Lips on Saturday and I'm only 16. I did see a kid who looked about 8 there, though, so who knows?

All the bars are seperate to the main venue so I think they can allow under 18s in if they want, I've seen kids there with parents so I'd say that's the policy

ah ok thanks! might go ahead and buy the tickets then. I am a girl yeah, so it's bvery easy for girls to look older, as people say but I think that when a guy hits 16/17 he can look pretty old too just by letting his beard grow! Dunno why I got into that but meh...
