    Hi

    I am going to have a few hours in new york for shopping - any recommendations for good shops for pc parts?

    Can i buy graphics cards and use them here?

    Try CompUSA on Fifth Avenue (just up from the Empire State Building}. You should be OK with the cards (unless they have TV out). Ask in the shop. Enjoy yourself!

    i think best buy is on fifth as well some where, Is has a PC section downstairs if
    I remember correctly and has a gaming section . Not sure of the value , Use Sis credit card to buy form newegg while I was there

    just a few words of advise, be a little wary of the electronic shops around times square, their stuff is all fine etc. but dont forget about sales tax and some of the store owners may try an bully you into paying cash rather than credit card (i think they try and deal in cash as much as possible for tax fiddling purposed) but stand your ground if you want to pay by credit card.
