Tough spots

Hand 1 - villain is aggro but reasonably good (maybe a bit too aggro). We are both pretty deep and have not been tanling much. The only time we did, I called his utg raise with AK, and then c/c him 3 streets on KQ467 board for him to show down KJo. There are two real soft spots at the table.

    Effective stacks 1200, blinds 3/6

    Preflop,
Folded to me on the button, I make it 21 with 99, folded to him in the BB, he makes it 75 to play. I call. This is the first time he has reraised me, that I can remember.

    Flop (150)
    7c 2c 2d
    He bets 111 .... and me ?

    Hand 2 -
Same table - this time one softspot has been replaced by somebody who is currently 15/8.

    Effective stacks 600

    Preflop
Button who is a bit of a gimp opens to 21, I decide to just call in the sb with TT, bb (15/8) makes it 75, button folds, and I think and call.

    Flop (175)
    Kc 6c 5d
    I check, he bets 145 ... and I ?

    2 x Fold.

1: Tricky spot, a call will tell him you have an overpair but not a great one, and a raise will get him to fold overcards and maybe 1010-QQ, but it'll effectively be a bluff, I think I just take the safe route and fold.
2: Again another tough spot, I probably fold, he could be betting so much to protect his AK or high PP from what is a draw heavy board, so again I fold. A C/R would be dangerous given the size of the stacks, pot and his bet.

I think both are pretty standard folds

    yeah, I folded both.

What if I have QQ in hand one ?

Hand 1 would depend on how tricky the villain is, if he allways continuation bets then I think you have to call, but if he is good enough to fire another two barrells I might withdraw gracefully. I know a lot of people on this forum hate the play but I wouldnt mind a raise to say 260 here intending to fold to a push or check it down.

Hand 2 I really dont know I hate to fold but its the kind of bet that says I dont have a king but have TT/JJ/QQ and wont be bullied, if from what you have seen he has a fold button I would raise if he will call off with QQ here then just fold. Would heavily depend on the flow of the game in this one for me.

thinking out loud here, hand 1 w/pillow's comments...

What does calling buy you? one card to try and hit a 2 outter, so you are not playing pot odds. If you want to continue, you have to feel you're ahead a good % of the time, since he's got to come back firing $200-300 on the turn. Is this where a raise of that same amount (making it $360 or so) might help us define his hand while showing strength? We'd find out soon enough if he's holding AA/KK/77, and he should really have a decision to make if he has QQ>, AK or was bluffing with a flush draw.
