Hi, I have a few questions regarding the course CW216(edit)
Does the course award a full HETAC higher cert after 18 months?
Is the course very difficult/high dropout rate, or is it managable with a
bit of cop-on and some work?(and interest)
The placement seems like an interesting addition.

whats the maths like?(Im reasonable at OL maths (B3 usually, or high C)
    What are the LC requirments?

Interestingly, I see the course isnt applied to through the CAO.
Are the assesment/aptitude/suitability tests very hard to get through, and is the course very highly competive with regards to entry?
Do you enjoy the course, and is it a good stepping stone to a degree?

    Any help/opinions greatly appreciated:)

If your talking about the IT Support course, its good, low drop out rate, and it helps if you've an intrest in computers.

Depends where your interests lie tbh,
It can be an extremely boring course.
What do you want to do after?Do you want to learn or just get qualified?
    What are your interests?

The dropout rate is fairly low for the 1st 12 months but after the work exp, which most people didn't get (Jan '01 I think)when everyone is back then the failing and dropping out starts.

Lc requirments are same as for all certs,no extras.
    The maths needed is minimal.
Entry was mostly for mature students, there is also an interview not sure if it is competitive now but really can not imagine that it is.

Feel free to pm me any questions.
