I hear you but if the €4.2k guarantee is in operation (and therefore I'm getting double my money in overlay) I'd suffer a sit and go!!

Edit: Yes thats the one Sikes

Supposedly, if its not working out its not like its a big deal to shuffle away to the Fitz anyway. Actually I don't know why I even got into changing your mind on this, two weeks with no poker and I'm gone as soft as mush..... :(

is it not like a typical irish tournie where the start time is 1/2 an hour after the advertised time?

there is 500 chips lost if late though...

It has been on. 1st week they had 5 runners and paid out 4.2k. Overlay most tourneys so far this month.

    ah ha brilliant.

been there once and the food was good too.

if there is only like 10 of us, how about we all go in on the first hand split the overlay and head to the fitz?!

Disappointing 4th for me. €300 net profit. Sikes, Alan and a young nordie guy were left.

Nice game with a €1400 overlay in the end which was sweet. Turns out two weeks away from the game can lead to some rustiness but still as long as I'm making a few quid while getting my game back it can't be too bad I guess.

never been so card dead on a FT in my life, poker sucks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,912 ✭✭✭Washout

but you were a card rack leading up to FT sikes

I made one bad judgement call against Norman. i think the first hand i sit down to...it then takes the break to get my head together.

    gg and wp all

im the muppet who couldnt put down top pair with KJ against normans buton raise with AK.

i turned 2 pair and norman rivered the A.

any other player but Norman and i would have folded to his re raise on the flop
