    i so terribly hate to cross post but i'm trying to find a subaru specialist in cork to do a timing belt service in a legacy. quote from main dealer was €2000+. got onto an indie today and he priced genuine parts from the main stealer i'd asked and when asked for the chassis number the parts price went from €320 (as quoted to me over the phone) to €900.

    i suspect foul play.
