    Nope, but when you add a wma file to your library it converts for you.

    don't quote me on this but if you have an rockbox enabled ipod surely it can play wma's.

    Rockbox doesn't support wma's either.

    They don't rate wma's as an audio format at all and so wont support them. :D

    weeeellll, it's more to do with the fact that wma is encoded using some floating point thing that the rockbox developers couldn't be arsed figuring out. It does get bashed too much as an audio format though. I don't see (hear?) any problems between it and a similarly encoded mp3 file. Then again, I'm not one of those audiophile folk who can (allegedly) hear bats talking and tell off dolphins for being too loud.

    ahh so that's why wma's don't play on my rockbox enabled iriver h140.

    only recently got some wma files never used the format before at all.
