    the site is back online but they are looking for donations for a dedicated host so it might be down again before then

    It seems to be just Ubuntu with Automatrix installed and some new graphics.

    couldn't some one just write a script to do this
    you could then choose which licenses you accept GNU only / Open Source / Freeware / anything and away it goes.

    There is such a script, automatix it's called. Although it doesn't ask you about licenses, but it warns you how it's illlegal to view DVDs in Linux in the US.

    Not sure if I'll bother with MINT although interesting that it's Ireland-based. (a first?)
