Items shipped to wrong address from eBay

I've already started a Paypal complaint with respect to this, but I'm just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience recently.

I just bought two different items from eBay and specified a particular address when paying by Paypal. the confirmation emails I received confirm the shipping address. Yet, I just found out today that both items were shipped to my old address down in Cork, whereas I now live in Dublin. The fault occurred somewhere in the Paypal system and I want them to pay for the items to be sent to Dublin to the correct specified address.

Has this happened to anyone else, or am I just a poor unfortunate?

eBay address? Plus, these were two different items from two different sellers.

In your My eBay, you can check and update all the addresses on your account by clicking on "Addresses" on the menu on the left-hand side under the "My Account" header. The "Postage address" you indicate is the one sent to your sellers when you purchase an item.

I didn't realise that. But it means that the sellers paid absolutely no attention to the address I specified when paying.

I have asked for delivery of the items also to a different address to what is on my ebay account, due to the size of the package, to more work address so I don't have to go down to the post office when they can't deliver it. But some sellers don't use my work address, even though I do specifiy this in my message and address when paying for the item.
