what price does anyone reckon it will go for?

and more importantly, what is it worth?

looking for a new PC, was gonna wait until next year and visat is out but might get one now if its a bargain.

Nothing special about it other than the CPU..should be under 700...
Graphics card is weak and other than the lightscribe burner nothing fancy pants about it at all.

Its not a bad PC at all IMHO. I reckon it'll be on sale for €899. The Core Duo is the base model but still very quick, the GFX card is very decent worth around €200 and it has HDMI connector also and it has TV tuner card also.

a rough estimate from its spec says 849 to me...which is okay for such a PC

is it not a 256MB card?

    is that not good?

    Hi Guys

Where are you getting the spec from? I can't seem to find it.

Also How quiet is that case likely to be, I'm currently tormented by an extremely loud Dell, and noise is a factor in my next pc purchase.

    Cgeers

256 is pretty minimal these days, and the model isnt the greatest , i think this would run vista a bit slowly IMO

yep a 7650GS is a decent card! I wouldn't call it weak unless you are comparing it to a 8800GTX.

    I'd say 749

One 256mb graphics card can be 2 or 3 times faster than another 256mb graphics card... so its no real indication.. although this card is fairly decent.

Keep it mind that almost any pc by aldi can easily be beaten in price by the refurbished products you can get on ebay.

Major improvement over their last poor offer with the X2.

Graphics card is nothing special but not too bad either, will get away with running current games at alright levels.

Thats a bit of an exaggeration now. There about 30 variants of cards in between this one and the 8800gtx that'd whip the pants off it.
