I just noticed about 20 minutes ago while out for a ciggy. The river was never clean but I could always see to the bottim of it and see the little fishies swimming around in it.

However, today I couldn't see anything in it but oil or an oil like substance. It was disgusting. It's not just a little bit of oil. It's still flowing.

I've rang the EPA and South Dublin co co and am waiting on a call back to discus.... Hmmmmm....

Anyway, I'd like to know who is dumping into the river. By now, I'm sure it has killed off at least some of the natural habitat in there.

I'm based in Riverview Business Park on the New Nangor Road in Clondalkin. Just under the M50 fly-over. If there is anyone else further up stream, could you see if your stretch of the river is polluted or not. It will help us track down who is doing this.

*EDIT* Not sure if it's the Camac River, but it's the one flowing just under the M50 fly over and just behind Riverview Business Park.
