I want to buy credit for somebody, but it seems that nowhere online sells the stuff! Short of buying a sim card, does anyone know anywhere you can buy the stuff?

I assume you mean phone credit, you can buy it for the person on pigsback.ie

Thats fine if you have an account, have 1200 points for every 10 quid you want and don't mind waiting a few days for it.
Other options:
1)Online topup through your bank
2)You can top up through the operators own website.

Buy it through pigsback, you will be displayed the top up number, much handier than getting the credit sent to your phone automatically, if your buying it for someone else.
