    Hi all,

Have a quick question if anyone can help.
Am thinking of getting NTL Digital in my apartment. I currently also have an NTL hook-up point in my bedroom however I don't want this to be changed to digital too. I just want to keep it as analogue.

If digital is installed in the main TV, will I be able to keep my analogue reception in my bedroom or will it be cut off? Don't really wana say anything to the NTL guys in case they start charging me for the extra point in my room!

    Thanks...

Digital is added via a Cable Digital Receiver/Decoder box. The same cable delivers analogue TV , Analogue FM radio, Digital TV ( DVB-c) and broadband (DOCSIS), the exact services available vary according to locaction / cable node.

The New NTL phone service uses the Broadband via builtin analogue phone ports (SIP/ATA) built into a replacement cable modem.

Or in other words.. yes you can have your analogue point. The lads I share with got Digital in 3 of the rooms but I kept the analogue feed up here as I already have a sky+ setup.

I'm not sure if theres a charge anymore for the analogue point itself - doesnt seem to be on the first bill we got anyway but may be wrong as they're not exactly easy to make out with charges and credits all over the place
