    Quick question regarding Student Options...
This offer they have here for a very cheap xp pro....it says it's an upgrade. Does that mean that you need to have xp home installed on it before? Or is this a full installation of XP Pro?

AFAIK it means you have to have another version of windows.

So win2k, win 98, or win xp home

There's no upgrade path from XP home to XP pro, so you'll need Windows 98/Millenium/2000.
