    Hi all,

Ive got a new project on which partly involves some complicated ideas im trying to get my head around. im looking for any help on ways to do the following.

the project is for an isp who are opearting a large scale hotspot network in a large city with up to 100 hotspots. im designing the front and backend system for authentication. the hotspots work on the basis that if you have one of our hotspots in your premises and sell our scratchcards, we give you a portion of the profit generated at that hotspot. its very successful but ive now been tasked with providing more flexibility for the hotspot vendor. this means giving them space for advertising (etc) on our login page.

this is where im brainfried. i want to give each vendor a dynamic page based on 1 of 5 templates which i will design (to retain some control over look and feel of login page the templates are important) it has to be a dynamic page so the the vendor can easily change content such as special offers for a particular day etc. now the problem, im essentially saying that i want to give each user there own cms for one of our templates. i cant however entertain the idea of giving each user there own database. it doesnt make sense to me that this would be the only way to implement such a system. so what kind of system would allow this. while im writing this im thinking of the closest idea i can get to this already in actiuon and it would be yahoo. specifically the shopping part where you can build your own shop with the products you would like to see. how do they keep track of all those users? surely the dont give evry user a database and its to big a job for the basic methods... so how would this be done?

the system will be php/ mysql
