Hello, I'm in the position where I'll be buying allot of Larger and Cider. I was wondering if you fine people could tell me what the going rates in dublin for 500ml cans of Bud, Tuburg, and Bulmers are respectively, and maybe suggest some cheap off Licences

    Thanks

Cant suggest any in Dublin, but if you're buying Budweiser, there seems to be a few places selling the 5% cans at the moment. I dont know why, but the 5 percenters are so much nicer than the 4.7 that you normally get. My local Texaco in Meath is selling the 5% Bud for €1.79 a can which is a very good price, so you should find that in Dublin somewhere as well.

Tuborg should be €1 each or 6 for €7 for 500ml cans.
Bud, dunno never go near it but I see many offies with signs for €1 330ml bottles of bud, probably cheaper than a can, and a touch less vile.

I know you said Dublin, but when I was up in Newry at the weekend there were lots of Irish registered cars with crates of larger (Didnt see much cider) if you are buying a lot it might be worth investigating either Sainsburys or Curleys, who currently have 20 330ml 'bud' for £10.99 which is less than €1 each.

If your in Dublin McHughs on the killbarrack road or Malahide road is a good bet. There prices are pretty competitive!

That will take ages to come into effect, if ever.

Its already happening! but I wont discuss it since I think it is not allowed. I have gotten loads of booze online for 1/2 the price it is here, including the postage! better selection, all top brands.

I think the judgement is due on the 23rd of November. As far as I know, after that there is no further recourse open to governments to object i.e. it becomes law effective immediately. (I'm open to correction on that though).

I'd expect capitalism to do the rest fairly rapidly.

They reckon they will try to close it down though, because they dont want people bringing prescription drugs into the country amoung other things.
