    Hey folks!

    Intro
I ordered my FAMAS from eHobby Asia I think 6 days ago and got it today. It came to approximately €310 including shipping, tax, etc. I opted for the FAMAS because of a recommendation from o1s1n, as well as because it was one of the cheapest AEGs online (considering its specs).
As I said, it arrived today, so that's about 6 days, which, from Hong Kong, is great. Much impressed and thoroughly recommend the shop.

    Impressions
Well when I first opened the box and saw the gun, I was very pleased :) Obviously I'd been jerking off over pictures and videos of it for the past few weeks, so I knew what to expect ;)

Well I took it out of the box and was surprised that it came with no battery or charger as part of the pack! I ordered both as extra as recommended by Oisin, but assumed they were spares in case I went on an airsoft binge for 48 hours straight or somethin! :p
Once I took it out I was quite shocked by the weight. When I heard "plastic" I imagined it would be quite flimsy and light, but alas I was wrong. I find it heavy enough and sturdy. Maybe in comparison to other guns it is flimsy, but I have no frame for comparison, so n00b's impression is good :)

I then went on to load it up. Took me f*cking ages! lol. I bought a speed loader with it, and it didn't work too well cos the hole is too tight, but I imagine a bit of messing with that will make it work fine. Since that didn't work I had to load them a few at a time into the pipe thing (possibly another kind of speed loader....?) that came with it. That took a while and was awkward -- can only imagine in the middle of the battlefield it would suck major ass! So let's hope I get the other thing working.

Loaded it up and took to firing a shot for starters. Nothing came out. Didn't realise the blaze tip was a muzzle guard :o
Popped that off and fired a few shots at the washing basket at the top of my stairs, and they went through it. So I was happy! lol. But pretty soon I noticed a smell of burning coming from the gun  That scared me, so I lashed on the safety and took out the clip. When I take off the clip, about 5 BB's fall out of the gun, as if they were floating around loosely in there. Anyone know the deal with these? Are they normal?

Anyways, I went on to shoot a shoebox to test the fully-auto mode, and boy was I impressed! :D I then went to my window and shot at my shed and was surprised that it went that far and still looked like it would hurt alot! It's not that far, but still, I was having nightmares about the balls only going as far as my old springers :(

I found aiming the gun to be really hard though. I've had a problem with aiming air-rifles in the past, so maybe I'm wierd, but my head doesn't seem to turn that way! Even the normal way, before you flick up the thing at the back, don't mind the crazy way where you've to look through the tiny hole! (I should learn some technical terms, lol)

With regards the power, me and my brother were both curious, so took 1 in the back each from 11 metres (length from one room through to the wall in the extension). It hurts! :D I'm not longer looking forward to skirmishing on full-auto! And count me out of speed-ball! :( lol

For accuracy, I've yet to mess around with that. I fired 5 or so shots at a cardboard box from 9 metres and hit it once :( Gonna have to mess around with the hop-up and stuff, I'm sure I'll be a sniper soon enough ;)

So there's my thoughts. I like it overall, but it's gonna require some tweaking and getting used to.
