Gears of War on the radio

Just heard there that theres gonna be a gears of war special on redfm in cork on thursday night. Something with cliffy b and some games to be given away I think.
Anyone else hear about this?

Sounds a bit suspect. Why only focus on Cork? Unless they are planning similar promotions in the rest of the country, or better ones. Does Cork have a high number of 360 owners compared to Dublin?

Dont think its an offical ms thing, I think its the guy who hosts the talk show is sticking in the special at the end of the night or something!

as far as I know it can. Its going to be available to download after the show by all accounts.

the week before, I saw an 'xbox bus' (covered completely in xbox imagery) parked outside an advertising company that's beside the apts I live in. (the agency is under the Luas bridge at the top of Charlemont st, on the canal).

Anyway, it looked like they had GOW stuff inside it. Maybe a road show or something?

ps. the agency itself has a 360 stand at reception.

Hi all. The special tonight is around 20 mins long and its off my own back and not an offical MS project. They were extremely kind though to offer some copies of GOW to giveaway. Its something completely different for the show and will kick off just after 11.30.

Sorry, yes, my post above may give the wrong impression. I meant with their support (ie games, the interview, joint press release).

It wouldn't surprise me, since microsoft(I assume) put a gears of war advertisment into the pavement outside UCC.

The show starts as normal at 9pm. The GOW special is from around 11.30ish onwards.
