I've noticed that the cover on the back of my MacBook screen is covered in scratches and strange marks.

Has anyone else noticed that the MacBook marks easily? Can Apple replace the cover with a new one?

Yeah, I've had that experience too, even from just being in a backpack with books and papers it was getting scratched. I bought a second skin protective pouch for mine which is great!

Not sure about apple replacing the cover, don't think they'd be liable anyway so would probably charge you. Send them a mail and find out!

Yeah i think its from books. But it scratches too easily so maybe they are liable...

Dude, it's shiny plastic -- of course it's gonna scratch. I'm sorry, but I think you'll just have to live with it.
Hmm... maybe you could apply some kind of varnish for plastic, if that exists...

    Plus scars are sexy.
