I've been blonde for a bout a zillion years now (naturally that Irish non-colour "fair"). Recently I've been itching to change it but I'm old enough (30) that I don't want to risk looking like an idiot. Are there any stylists in Dublin or Cork that I can go into and have them suggest another colour that would suit me. I'm looking for someone who can read my skin tone I guess? I did try to go red at one stage but as my skin is quite "flushed" I ended up looking like a tomato :-)

House of Colour are amazing, they win tons of awards. It's expensive mind, but very professional and treat you very well. It has colour menus of unusual looks but also very good at reg colour. They have branches in Dublin, I HIGHLY recommend the one on Wellington quay beside Merchant's arch:) Check out the website www.houseofcolour.ie
