This was last tuesday and i have nothing back since and the line is still not activated. Eircom on their website say it should only take 2 days if…

The previous tenant in my apartment had a phone connection but i never bothered with it. I now wanted to get the bb in so i made an online request to get the line activated. This was last tuesday and i have nothing back since and the line is still not activated.
Eircom on their website say it should only take 2 days if there was connection in the past (there was as by dialling 199000 it calls out my number)

Should it take this long and how can i push to get this sorted?
Can I dial 1901 from the phone even if the line is not activated?
