Designing icons in Mac OSX

I'm a software developer and I need to come up with an icon for the project files created by my application. The application already has a logo/icon, but now I need to shrink the logo a little, superimpose it over an image of a blank dog-eared page (as is the convention for creating document/project file icons) and save it as a .icns file. Anyone have any pointers on how to do this? I don't have a clue when it comes to graphic design I'm afraid :o

If you post up the logo and the image of the dog eared blank doument I'll shrink the logo and merge it into the blank doc for you.

Sweet, thanks. I'll just need to quickly prepare a few bits and pieces, I'll put it up within an hour or two...

Feck, boards won't allow me to upload the zip file with the image files. Here it is anyway: http://www.box.net/public/yq3pjhckk2

I'll sent you a PM with a few details now. Thanks again!

I've done as requested, I'm not sure whether the Mac OSX required a transparent backround behind the sheet so I did one with a transparent background and one without.
