Ghosting Ntfs/fat

    Hey all,

    I have to ghost all the windows OS's on my laptop,i have ghosted XP(installed on ntfs), now i have the option to format my drive C: to the fat file system, my question is , if i do this, will i still be able to load my XP ghost image back onto my C:drive with the FAT file system now on the C:drive

    any info appreciated

    Don't partion cloning programs usually just wipe the existing partition and put the saved one over the top ? so it would not matter what was there before hand , afterwards it would be NTFS.

    I haven't used a recent version of ghost so I don't know if it can merge the existing data on the drive with the data on the image.

    It'll be back as NTFS, I believe, as it overwrites at a lower level(As Cap'n' said)... but um, why FAT + XP?
